The Manhattan Beach 10k has been passionate about health and fitness since it was founded during the running boom of 1978! We have 42 years of history to reminisce and celebrate, the excitement of a 2020 Special Edition Race, and look forward to the years ahead. With this in mind, our MB10k race shirt is ‘throwback nouveau’ combining the design of 1982 with an updated logo for 2020.

If you missed our previous registration deals, don’t fret! When you sign up for our October 7 race, your registration fee makes a significant impact within the Manhattan Beach community.

Since the MB10k started in 1978, race proceeds are directly returned to the community in the form of:

  • Various health & fitness enhancements to the recreation facilities of local schools & parks.

  • Scholarships to Manhattan Beach high school seniors.

Registration Prices Increase Tomorrow

We are just over a month away from the upcoming 46th Annual Manhattan Beach 10k! Race day is swiftly approaching on October 7, 2023, and it all kicks off at 7:30am sharp. With registrations filling up fast, we want to ensure you don't miss out on this fantastic community event. We encourage you to register today before new prices take effect tomorrow.

$35/ages 15+ | $30/ages 0-14 | Virtual $25/all ages*

Registration At Village Runner

You can now register in-person at Village Runner, Manhattan Beach through race eve, Friday, October 5. We do NOT offer race day sign ups.

Enjoy these benefits when you come to the store:

  • You walk out with your race bib in hand

  • You can pay with cash or check, if you don’t want to use a credit card, as fees apply

  • Shop the latest running shoes, clothing and gear to get you race ready

Family Teams

For in-store registration, you may register as a Family Team now. After both runners have registered, use this link or click the blue button below, and follow instructions.

For Online registration, once you pick up your bib numbers within the 3 days prior to race day at Village Runner, Manhattan Beach, you can enter as a family team as you need your race numbers to complete the entry.  Family Team entry ends at 8pm the night before the race, Friday, October 6th. For more detailed information about our Family Teams, visit our FAQs.

There is no fee to be entered as a Family Team.

THE MB10K IS A NON-PROFIT EVENT AND THE PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO COMMUNITY FITNESS RELATED CAUSES & SCHOLARSHIPS. THE RACE COMMITTEE ORGANIZERS AND RACE STAFF ARE VOLUNTEERS.

MB10k Named RRCA California State 10K Championship For 2nd Straight Year

We are proud to announce that the Manhattan Beach 10k was selected by the Road Runners Club of America as their California State 10K Championship for the second year in a row! At our October 7th race the RRCA will give out Championship Awards for Open, 40+, 50+, and 60+ groups. We are honored to be chosen and would like to thank the RRCA for this special designation once again!

MB10k Swag Store Is Now Open

As part of our 45th Anniversary celebration, we have opened up an online Manhattan Beach 10k Swag Store for a limited time! Each item features the 2022 Finisher Tee artwork by Joe Vickers. We’ve got a coffee mug, trucker hat, tanks and tees. The Unisex tees are offered in long or short sleeve, cotton or tech. The women’s tank choices are cotton or tech, also.
