1982 Meets 2020
The Manhattan Beach 10k has been passionate about health and fitness since it was founded during the running boom of 1978! We have 42 years of history to reminisce and celebrate, the excitement of a 2020 Special Edition Race, and look forward to the years ahead. With this in mind, our MB10k race shirt is “throwback nouveau” combining the design of 1982 with an updated logo for 2020.

We’ll also want to see your photos and hear from you on how you celebrated being part of the 43rd annual race that you design for yourself. Will you finally run with a stroller? Walk it with your dog? Sweat it out on a treadmill? Do a totally different course while you’re up in Mammoth or from where you live in Arizona? So many possibilities! We’ll also have options for joining Strava groups for those who want accountability or a challenge.

Registration Opening September 1
Registration for the Special Edition “Run Your Own Race” will open on September 1. Please note that registration will be online only via our homepage at mb10k.com and not in-store at Village Runner. We are giving you 10 days of the 10k, spreading out the time you can complete the race in whatever fashion suits you, from October 1 through October 10, 2020. More information on this will be coming in future newsletters.
