Introducing the 2026 MB10k Finisher Tee

2026 MB10k Finisher Tee Artwork

Good Day Sunshine

The Manhattan Beach 10k Race Committee is absolutely thrilled to unveil Derek Billings as our featured artist and showcase his incredible artwork on our official 2026 Finisher T-Shirt. Based right here in Manhattan Beach, Derek leverages over 20 years of design experience to transform exotic hardwoods and white birch panels into vibrant representations of coastal life. His signature style brilliantly juxtaposes dramatic black-and-white photography with bold, saturated shapes of color that perfectly capture the energy of our community.

In addition to custom abstract paintings, his studio offers premium wood-framed giclée prints featuring iconic Southern California surf scenes. We cannot wait to see thousands of runners wearing his celebrated coastal artwork this year, and for many years to come!

For more information, visit his website below or follow him on Instagram, @derekbillings. He'll also be at the Hometown Fair on race weekend!

Congratulations To Our 2026 MB10k Scholarship Recipients

One of the most rewarding parts of the Manhattan Beach 10k is the opportunity to support local students as they take the next step in their academic journeys. This year, we're honored to recognize a remarkable group of Mira Costa High School seniors who have distinguished themselves through scholarship, service, and a commitment to healthy living.

Year 49 of the MB10k Is Taking Shape

Every year, it starts the same way — a ton of early registrations, a little buzz, and then it builds. Friends start texting. Run clubs make plans. People who said, “Maybe this year.”, finally sign up. Before long, race day isn’t just on the calendar — it’s something you’re part of. That’s how the Manhattan Beach 10K comes together, year after year.

The MB10k - More Than a Race

For nearly 50 years, the Manhattan Beach 10k has been more than just a race — it’s a community tradition.

On race morning, it’s not just the racers. It’s the neighbors, the local bands, the volunteers, and the finish at the Manhattan Beach Pier. It’s why so many people come back. And why first-timers quickly understand what makes it special.

As we head into Year 49, Early Registration is already underway.

Why the Manhattan Beach 10k Fills Up Every Year

For nearly five decades, the Manhattan Beach 10k has been more than just a race — it’s a hometown tradition.

The first Saturday of October, thousands of participants take to the streets of Manhattan Beach, passing through neighborhoods lined with cheering spectators, live bands along the course, and finishing steps from the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier. For many participants, the MB10k isn’t just another race on the calendar — it’s something they come back for year after year.
