Congrats to Our 2026 MB10k Scholarship Recipients
One of the most rewarding parts of the Manhattan Beach 10k is the opportunity to support local students as they take the next step in their academic journeys. This year, we're honored to recognize a remarkable group of Mira Costa High School seniors who have distinguished themselves through scholarship, service, and a commitment to healthy living.
With more than $235,000 awarded in scholarships and over $545,000 contributed to Manhattan Beach schools, the impact of the MB10k extends far beyond the finish line.
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our 2026 MB10k Scholarship Recipients:

The 1st Annual Manhattan Beach 10k Ryan James Scholarship
This award was presented in honor of Ryan James, who tragically passed away last October from Epilepsy at the age of 18. You can learn more about him in this EASY READER article. Ryan was passionate about running, despite the challenges he faced. He was a most deserving recipient of a 2025 Manhattan Beach 10k scholarship. He was and will always be an inspiration to our race committee and our runners. We know his legacy will endure.
The award was presented to Logan K. who shares many of the same attributes as Ryan; academic excellence, a commitment to community service, a passion for running and a determination to overcome adversity.
