At the beginning of July we revealed our awesome Finisher Tee image, pictured above. The art is by Joe Vickers and it is absolutely perfect for our 45th birthday! We wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about Joe. He works on painting, drawing and writing out of his studio in Southern California.

MB10k Spotlight - The Daily With Lindsay Wandzilak
Last year we welcomed a new sponsor to the Manhattan Beach 10k - The Daily With Lindsay Wandzilak. She was an awesome addition as she shared her race training journey, fitness tips and yummy recipes. Not only did she have an amazing booth at our post-race expo, Lindsay also ran the MB10k and was the second place finisher in the Female Division with a time of 37:39!

MB10k Named RRCA California State 10K Championship
We are proud to announce that the Manhattan Beach 10k was selected by the Road Runners Club of America as their California State 10K Championship! At our October 1st race the RRCA will give out Championship Awards for Open, 40+, 50+, and 60+ groups.
