Hometown Weekend
In order to properly experience Hometown Weekend, your first order of business is crossing the finish line at the Manhattan Beach 10k! While the fair is celebrating their big 5 0, we are celebrating our 45th birthday! And we wouldn’t dare celebrate without you. Catch Mira Costa senior Dalia Frias if you can! At the Track Meet of Champions Distance Invitational that took place last month at Azusa Pacific University, she became the fastest girl in the U.S. in the 1600 meters (4:33.54), 1 mile (4:35.06) and 3200 meters (9:59.94). As if that wasn’t enough, she just broke the course record with 9:55:50 for the 3200 at the Arcadia Invitational! Congrats, Dalia!
