Message From MB10k Race Director, Rachel Judson

MB10k Race Director Rachel Judson.

Thank You

The MB10k was founded on promoting health and fitness in 1978. That passion has inspired our volunteer organized race for 43 years, and we love the stories that many of our over 1,400 'Run Your Own Race' participants shared with us this year. From little Belmont, Michigan to Bahrain, from toddlers to seniors, to first timers to 43 year finishers, thank you for sharing your stories.  We learned our beach reaches far beyond the sand in 90266. Reminiscing about years prior, and hearing what a special place the MB10k holds in the hearts of many, makes all the hours we as volunteers put into the race worth every second. Know our plan is to be back as both a live and “virtual” event for the years to come. Be ready to lace up one way or another in 2021!

Thank you so much for your support! Take care!

Thank You To Our Local Papers

We are so grateful to the Easy Reader News for the two articles they did about the race, here and here.  Kevin Cody, as Susie Young would say, “You're Awesome!”

Many thanks to Paul Silva for his column in The Beach Reporter. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Scarlette G. finished her MB10k in front of the Rose Bowl.

Keep Sharing

Keep your stories of the race coming and be sure to check out our Through the Years to keep the MB10k energy and inspiration going in your life. We love this story of Scarlette G., pictured above. She ran the MB10k this year in honor of her grandmother who recently passed away. Her grandmother’s last race was the 2019 MB10k and she loved football, hence the Rose Bowl finish line.

THE MB10K IS A NON-PROFIT EVENT AND THE PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO COMMUNITY FITNESS RELATED CAUSES & SCHOLARSHIPS.  THE RACE COMMITTEE ORGANIZERS AND RACE STAFF ARE VOLUNTEERS.
